Certificate Number
A new CTE educator who has a certification record on file with the South Carolina Department of Education (SCDE) has been issued an Educator Identification Account Number or EID. Please use your EID account number at all times when communicating with the Office of Educator Services. Individuals issued a South Carolina educator certificate will also have a Certificate Number, which should be used for communicating with your DIRECT training.
Both your EID and Certificate account numbers are available through your user account in the SC Educator Portal.
Processing Time for Inquiries Requests
We are available to assist new CTE educators by email and telephone. Please note that requests are evaluated and processed in the order in which they are received. To expedite processing, please gather all documentation needed prior to submitting a request.

My SC Educator Portal
Through My SC Educator Portal, you can check your certification status, upload your DIRECT completion certificates and print a current certificate. Your username will be the email address you submit when creating this account.
